Amazon Prime Student 6-Month Trial: Official Eligibility & Setup Guide (2026)

Important Eligibility Criteria (Amazon Official Policy)

According to Amazon Prime Student terms (Amazon Prime Student Eligibility), membership requires active enrollment at an accredited college or university. UES.edu.pl is a temporary email testing sandbox and does not establish student enrollment—Amazon may require official proof of enrollment (student ID, transcript, or tuition statement) to approve trial benefits.

5-Step Verification & Claim Sequence

1. Step 1: Verify your higher-education enrollment eligibility
Ensure you are actively enrolled at an accredited college or university recognized in your regional Amazon marketplace (e.g., Amazon.com in the US, Amazon.co.uk in the UK, or Amazon.de in Germany/Poland). Note: UES.edu.pl is a temporary QA testing sandbox and cannot be used to prove student enrollment on Amazon.
2. Step 2: Open the Amazon Prime Student signup page
Navigate to amazon.com/Amazon-Student and click "Start your 6-month trial". Sign into your existing personal retail Amazon account.
3. Step 3: Submit your official academic verification details
Enter the official academic email address issued by your college or university and select your expected graduation year. If your school email domain is not automatically recognized by Amazon, choose the option to upload official proof of enrollment (student ID card showing current term, class schedule, or tuition bill).
4. Step 4: Confirm verification link or SheerID review
If verifying by official school email, open the confirmation message sent by Amazon in your university inbox and click the verification link. If verifying by document upload, Amazon typically reviews documentation within 1–3 business days.
5. Step 5: Manage membership & renewal preferences
Visit Amazon > Your Prime Membership > Manage Membership to review trial terms, official enrollment requirements, or set renewal reminders.

Common Verification Pitfalls & Solutions

• Region Mismatch: If claiming on Amazon US (.com), ensure your payment method billing zip code aligns with US formatting or multi-currency cards.
• Supplementary Proof: If automated email verification requires additional review, Amazon may ask for official proof of enrollment (such as an active student ID, tuition receipt, or transcript).
• Billing Holds: Amazon may place a temporary $1 authorization hold that reverses automatically within 3 business days.
